Scott Francis@promovicz @lzg from a purely pragmatic perspective (one of avoiding hassles, operational and otherwise), simplicity is vastly underestimated as a design requirement in almost all systems. This is why on my list of rules, rule 1 is “as simple as possible” (rule 0 is “it has to work”).
