Scott Francis (darkuncle@infosec.exchange)'s status on Tuesday, 15-Aug-2023 10:55:16 JST Scott Francis @promovicz @lzg from a purely pragmatic perspective (one of avoiding hassles, operational and otherwise), simplicity is vastly underestimated as a design requirement in almost all systems. This is why on my list of rules, rule 1 is “as simple as possible” (rule 0 is “it has to work”).

prom™️ (promovicz@chaos.social)'s status on Tuesday, 15-Aug-2023 10:55:18 JST prom™️ @lzg Serious question - can we sell this as "functional tranquility"? Like - can we or should we make simplicity an ideal? This has been bugging me from an anarchist dialectic perspective.
novatorine 🏴🏳️⚧️ repeated this.
