This is a problem with any open federated system. We're all just sharing copies of our local data with each other and the data can go anywhere and be interacted with anywhere.

The only way to ensure control over who sees your content and who interacts with your content is a closed centralized system. Once you open it up and allow content to move beyond your control all bets are off. 😥

This is the trade-off of not having your communication trapped in a closed system run by a tech billionaire. 😵💫
