@goz @thomasfuchs @mos_8502 @HunterZ masto's threading is nonexistent, and even though I've heard the argument that "most people" are confused by it, as someone who's used threading for more than a quarter century now (hello #trn #usenet) and have seen it implemented on web forums and non-unix mail clients continue to be baffled why masto doesn't do it.

(purposely replying to the post to illustrate my point: the UI flattens everything so I don't know if this point has been raised yet.)
