@book @graf @Fever @sim that doesn't make it a person, and an autonomous agent of a person that is never actually checked by the person is even further still away. all a followbot does is dump your server's posts on another server's known network timeline. again if you the human want to follow someone, literally nothing is stopping you, except having to make a conscious decision to do so which is actually a pretty good place to define the difference between a real person and a software agent.
