Indeed, it would be incredibly harrowing. The only reason I draw attention to what I’ve seen is my reasonable suspicion that it’s in the State’s interest to paint the jury as unreliable, rather than admit to wrongdoing by the DA. I doubt I’ll ever know for sure - but the historical application of Bread and Circus has leaned heavily into its efficacy as Divide & Conquer
