Rich Felker@dckim @nicolaottomano @Em0nM4stodon Yes, a lot of the world does require this. Where I've had it, you usually fill out a form and provide copy of ID at the location where the SIM is purchased. It's active immediately so it's only checked in retrospect if at all.
