Grok is a piece of software trained on the same data that makes me want to take a shower after reading it — namely, the garbage fire that is Twitter. If I wanted to engage with a chatbot that’s been fed a diet of corporate propaganda, conspiracy theories, and the occasional cat video, I’d just go ask Elon himself. I don’t need a bot trained on the same platform that turned discourse into a dumpster fire to tell me what I should think. If anything, I’d expect it to regurgitate the same inane corporate talking points that make me want to throw things at my screen.

Fediverse is supposed to be a space for humans to talk to other humans, not to be another front for AI-generated noise. It’s a place where people can engage in real conversations, share ideas, and actually connect — not be fed a stream of algorithmically generated nonsense that’s been filtered through the personality of a billionaire who thinks he’s a genius. If Elon wants to waste some of his own electricity running a bot that’s trained on the same platform that made him rich, that’s his problem.
