vicRight now it seems like the sanest desktop distro is CachyOS since it's basically SteamOS but more suited for use as an everyday desktop. I don't really care about the "performance tuning" they advertise, it's just nice because it's not bloated. pacman takes a little getting used to but I like it better than apt.
