In France, the pass rate is about 50%, they make you do everything, and if you take your test in a car with an automatic, you get a license with a badge that says you're only allowed to drive an automatic.

When I took the test, the lady kept yelling at me to try to make me nervous and screw up. I did okay because I was already an experienced driver.
