A small group of people working on serious alt hypothesis rather than "banana fit in man band therefore God" is a nice improvement, even if they didn't get results that satisfied you. Although you strike me as the kind of guy who wouldn't believe in God even if He personally spoke to you while you witnessed multiple miracles.
