     @DigitalTaoist I think you spelled “greed” wrong. Germany is the world’s second largest arms dealer for Israel, right behind the US.

     This isn’t just Israel’s genocide. In the words of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Israel is “doing the dirty work”* but this is very much a genocide being committed by the West.

     Ironic that it seems to be Germany's guilt over the holocaust that causes its government to support Israel, regardless of the criminality... guilt over genocide causes the aiding and abetting of genocide? Madness.

     @messaroundmarx I get your point and agree. However, all the linguistic nitpicking I’m seeing on this subject does feel rather on the nose when weighed against the gravity of a freaking live-streamed genocide that is being actively aided and abetted by our states and our nation-states. Of course “not all” anyone on anything. But you also cannot deny that Germany is fucked up in a very unique way on this issue.

     Why use the concept of "nation" when you mean states? It's an ideological construct to subsume a multitude of people under a common concept, in order to control people. A dangerous myth which takes effect only in so far as people believe in it. We shouldn't use it as if it was just a neutral descriptive notion.
     Btw: Not all antifascists who have a german passport support Zionism.😉
