When first installed I was testing at 150mbps down and 100 up, which was fine, but there was still the slow browsing issue. Can't reach ieji.de unless I use the VPN, for some reason.

In other matters I recently changed to a full fibre (they assure me it is) ISP, and whilst the speeds are amazing (150mbps down 100 up), there are frequent problems resolving web addresses. So on the one hand I've got all this speed at my disposal, on the other the web is even slower to access than before!

I've found that one solution to this is to connect to the VPN, as, as far as I can tell, this uses a different server for DNS resolution.

Anyone else experienced this?

So I finally got around to changing the DNS to the Cloudflare service in the router, which has shown something of an improvement, but overall 4th Utility's "full fibre" broadband has been a massive let down. The speed, this morning, was lower than that we had previously, and stably, from Plusnet.

I see Sonia Sodha's laying on the guilt trip in the Guardian. Apparently people are 'foolish' if they choose not to vote for Labour, regardless of whether they're disenchanted, or, presumably, even if they've been kicked out of Labour for being too left wing.

Getting a little bit sick of the hypocrisy now, tbh, and at the same time I envy my friends up in Scotland who benefit from #PR and can vote for the candidate they want - without the constant barrage of BS!
