     @f0x @theorytoe I agree with all that I was just asking why are they putting out these shitty poorly made cameras, installed in the most blatant way possible? it just seems really stupid and poorly planned on their part. public image botched so horribly it almost looks like we're supposed to get mad about what they're doing.
     
     I'm wondering it they're trying to make people tired of fighting because they just keep coming up with more and more dumb surveillance programs-- we're SUPPOSED to think it's inevitable. Or whether maybe it's a distraction while they do something worse. I'm not blackpilling, I'm examining their strategy.
     
     (it's also possible this is just VC morons trying to get rich because they think there's gonna be a demand for this stuff in the near future. coked up finance people (moneydicks as p calls them) are retarded)

     @bajax @theorytoe is preventing death bad because it's a proven inevitable? surveillance will worsen but do you want it to be "despite our best efforts" or "because it was going to happen anyway I rolled onto my stomach and got sad about it". it's a near inevitable but you don't have to let flock cameras or axon cameras allow anyone to look at your children whenever they want, to look at you whenever they want. Flock is already scared and is going away, and Axon is replacing them, but we can just do the same shit and they'll maybe go away also. GPS data and tapping into your phone is a lot different functionally than "i think the person observing me is a malicious cop" and "i think the person observing my children is a pedophile" or worse.

     @bajax @theorytoe looks like a company trying to see if people would care. In Denver they kinda silently replaced a flock network with an axon one, which was more carefully thought out and less obvious. I think, if it were a meditated effort, it would be to give the public a "win" so they could still do what they want. so let everyone you know about axon camera networks and other alternatives that will replace the flock ones, and tell people to wreck their shit up also.
