   I've had the same email address for ~36 years now

   This morning the owner of my ISP phoned me to tell me that my accounted had been hacked (just me, not an ISP-wide problem) and that I should change my password immediately

   That's some pretty impressive personal service

   Also, I'm really old

     It occurs to me that some people on Mastodon will think I'm posting about a phishing attempt. I should probably preemptively mention that the owner and I attended one another's weddings last century

     There was no doubt as to who was on the other end of the phone call

     My cell hasn't changed in 25 years, and Alexis and I touch base every couple years just to say hi

     Come to think of it, he was at my most recent birthday party 18 years ago
