"Alcoholics are stupid, weed smokers are deep thinkers"
Bro alcoholics built the fucking world. I promise you if I hire a team of alcoholics and a team of random stoners to both build a house the alcoholics will have the house built before the weed team even shows up

I tend to agree. Drugs aren't for everyone. Most people can't control a habit. But in certain environments, and even keeping those with issues "caged", it can cause innovation.
I can't help but notice a connection between heroin / morphine use and musical innovation. It's basically undeniable imo. Maybe because of some dreamy quality.
Cocaine / stims are best left to the engineers and thinkers. To keep the music analogy, the guys who come in and clean up / perfect what was dreamed.

@Humpleupagus @CobaltSasquatch the drug war has legit set us back by at least 300+ years. Opium has created more innovation historically than it has created actual crimes with a victim

@Humpleupagus @Lyx @CobaltSasquatch i think it's like being able to have a drunk driving license, some people can handle their shit, some people can't and make it everybody else's problem
the current junkie disease model is retarded and creates an industry revolving around the most insufferable piles of shit imaginable, the "sobriety" subculture is trash

Exactly. The strict liability structure doesn't take contribution or any other life factors into account, and treats the use of very specific substances as de facto problematic, while promoting others of equal dignity. It also fails to take the person into account. The law unfortunately treats everyone as the lowest common denominator. It treats everyone like a retarded nigger.
Also sobriety isn't a real concept. Everything you put into your body has psychological effects. Ever been hangry and ate? Eating goyslop vs. steak? Etc. What is "sobriety" when it all hits your brain?

>Also sobriety isn't a real concept
Had a non-aggressive native wanting me to stab him in the chest, showed me his scars. Well over a dozen. WTF. Him not dying was a testament to medics. Dude needs to stay sober. Also feather Indians made their own fire water before any trader ever offered them a drink.
But the prohibitionists? They literally poisoned people just to "help" them. I'm no lolbertarian, but the topic is clearly nuanced.

Wrong. He doesn't need sobriety, he just needs to not drink. Maybe he should try meth. 🤷♂️

@Humpleupagus @Lyx @CobaltSasquatch nobody should have drugs because i broke into houses and stole shit like a nigger while i was on them
you should praise me nonstop for putting down the crackpipe and doing what pretty much everybody else had to do as soon as they graduated from high school
if i do something shitty while sober you should give me a pass because not being on drugs is really hard, if i go back on drugs and do something shitty you should give me a pass because i have a disease and can't help it if i relapse and do drugs again
