     Age validation is control but making parents do their job for once and pushing for them to understand the dangers and shit would be better, it would put the burden on the parrents not everyone else.
     
     But i don't see that happening because its just an excuse for control at this point, they dont give a fuck about the children, Me neither i give a fuck about free internet and Kids are a major problem for that because they are used as ammo to push this BS control

     @goatmeal @xaetacore i'm entirely certain more of my problems come from overbearing narcicist parents than ever came from using the internet as child. most people didn't even know i was 15 because i read books and used big words correctly.
     
     i think the whole enforced age cohort thing is some controller scam and is actively harmful. there's not a historic precedent for it and our social fabric collapse interestingly coincides with reinforcing norms against the one room school and such.
     
     threat navigation and mitigation skills need to be actively taught anyway. we're not doing people favors by putting them in one of asimov's robot's hugboxes forever.

     Kids should play outside and have minimal access to anything that can sway them to the wrong side, let kids me kids when they are old enough to understand you tell them about how the world really works yourself, its a parents job to educate them, if you let them on social media they will be educated by "them" you are playing right into their hands by doing that
