   the main tell for this state of affairs is a “shotgun” series of complaints: all over the place with no coherent pattern

   usually calling this out (“what is this bullshit, what are you really bent out of shape about”) reveals some childlike need to be comforted about some silly female-brain thing, which once provided, leads to a quick return to flowers-and-sunshine

   over time it is usually possible to train them to recognize this state of affairs and minimize the time spent in the Aggravating Zone; self-management is the impossible dream, so you’ll never get there, but at least her being able to quickly identify when she’s drifting away into an cloud of ovarian madness and her being able to sheepishly recognize that her hindbrain is starting shit (“which is fine, dear, we expect this of you, but don’t be a pain in the ass”) is more than good enough for domestic tranquility

     @TrevorGoodchild @Largo @BionicNigga @BarelyEagle Wife and I are very happily married. Despite being a model Christian woman she still pushes my buttons sometimes. I rarely have to do more than raise my voice by a fraction at most, and tighten my hand into a fist. I can confirm what Jb said below: sex with a woman who just got put down is a different level of pleasurable.

     @Largo @BionicNigga A female fedi denizen did an excellent writeup on this. @BarelyEagle has the screencap iirc and the bottom line was that you will never, ever be able to 'out-emotion' a woman as they are irrational children at their core. Losing frame control is actually what they are subconsciously provoking you to do. The more calculating ones attempt to escalate this into a man's natural endpoint of anger: physical violence. The solution is not giving them what they want but calmly telling them 'no', the way you would a child throwing a tantrum. This is why NEXT is such a powerful tool in a man's armamentarium, and you should be quick to cut losses when necessary.

     I think we need to touch on this in the fediverse, what consists of "angry", and to what point? I personally think there's room for further explanation.
