     @sun i don't disagree there at all, but maybe just shoot every drug dealer in DC and L.A. instead, that will solve the problem much faster, is closer to home and doesn't cost 5 million per boat

     @vriska @lain I am 90% sure this is one of those stats where someone assumes that the boat had a completely unmodified gas tank, I've seen a few pictures of the boats and they're not normal. but I don't know anything

     @sun @lain one those of boats specifically would've needed to refuel almost 20 times to make it from venezula to the US and I don't think drug smugglers are pulling into Ocean Shell gas stations 20 times

     @lain It makes no dent in the drug trade but anything that hits Venezuela's bullshit is good. They're a nation of cowards who won't topple Maduro themselves and until that happens there's 8 million of them being a problem for everyone else. If Trump kicks him out of power through an unjustified war, that's a good thing.
