@aetios@sns.minovsky.space @fiore@brain.worm.pink I tend to only use this suiseiseki type of tone to people who are fully aware of the issues with proprietary software and make up cope reasons to justify their actions.
Using this type of language doesn't work against normies who lack awareness in the first place.

@SuperDicq @aetios @fiore Unfortunately, matching an approved proprietary tone that only rarely offends someone is always devoid of freedom (someone will always be offended no matter what you write).
Going against the approved instructions of the proprietary masters pushes the offense over 9000 - it can't be helped unfortunately.
Children are capable of reading something they don't agree with without getting offended, or stopping reading if they can't handle it, but noooooooooo.
In this proprietary world, to have freedom with free software, you do need to be an extremist - anyone who is not extreme will turn away themselves.
Let's be real - normies will never have freedom - but if normies via some method learn that free software exists and there are absolute lunatics are hellbent on freedom and that "open source" is a corporate trick - some of them will decide to no longer be a normie and be free.
I don't personally insult people, but people will call me a "prick" and "asshole" and many other despicable and contemptible personal insults and censor me via blocking - which is something to be offended about, but I won't stoop to their level. -

@Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com @aetios@sns.minovsky.space @fiore@brain.worm.pink There's a much higher chance of convincing people if you do not offend them and instead slowly reeling them in to your side.

@SuperDicq @aetios @fiore I don't really want to break it slowly over 50 years unfortunately (you'll still offend them going that slow due to all the governmental and business propaganda poisoning their mind).
If people realize that free software exists and that "open source" stuff is proprietary, even if they don't like it and they start saying that proprietary software is a good thing - I've still won - as at least they stop referring to free software as "open source". -

@SuperDicq @RetardStrength My posts tend to be tailored per message - there isn't really much overlap.
I'll think about getting someone to host a blog for me. -

@RetardStrength@shitpost.cloud @Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com You know what I kind of agree. I think the type of posting Suiseiseki does would work great on a blog. And if you ever feel like you have to do a rant again that you've done before you can just link to the blog post.
