     @hugh @philpem there's @libreleah 's UK based thinkpad-with-a-brain-transplant offering: https://minifree.org/ - I'd have one myself but there's a libreboot/nixos issue pending a fix (so I'm limping along with my ancient starlight for now) - and @mntmn 's mnt reform looks fun too!

     Sucks about Framework. I have some overtime pay coming and needed to replace the X220 Of Theseus.

     Does anyone have any suggestions? Used market is also an option. Though I'm not keen on how modern laptops all seem to have internal pouch LiPo's custom-sized for the chassis.
