     @e4 oh that was a saga that changed fedi for good. I don't know who started it or where the fire happened, but I do know the actors.
     
     On one side we have Bot, Eris (the ONLY and ORIGINAL ERIS from KiwiFarms), and some other accounts. On the other side there are Graf, P from FSE, SJW and some other people.
     
     What they're fighting about is whether loli pictures constitute as cp or not. There are multiple threads on this, which I couldn't give to you since FSE's archive is now gone lmao. Better ask @p for it, I'm sure he knows more than me about this saga.

This caused some friction when KF dropped their instance and those people all spread out and they were blocked on sight at Poast, but Josh Moon had set up his alt on Poast and they couldn't talk to him any more. Poast had the ACCollective chick trying to dox random users and the KF people were having Torswats try to get graf arrested/raided on a regular basis.

     This definitely occurred. That is what I expected was their goal. And because of their association with KF, it changed a lot of people's perception of the place from "weird but mostly harmless edgy forum with a lot of videos of autistic men jacking off" to "the place that is actively trying to kill the internet". Eris even went after Moon from SPC, a guy that there is literally no reason to go after.
     
     The visible people were just the retards sent out to troll, though; all of them had advance notice of the Chudbuds hack and Eris and Trollcow showed up to spam gamer words on the stream (Twitch takes down streams if the mods ignore that stuff, so they can't ignore it) and (visible from the Chudbuds leak) bot had been trying to get information from the admin, then cut off contact with her the week before. The people you see weren't in charge of anything, it's like all those screechy pedos that were using the Newgon debate script: the people you were interacting with were not the people that were deciding anything, they were just the retards that wanted to participate but didn't know how to do the hacking or the swatting or whatever, so they did the low-effort trolling.

I wrote code that solved the problem, in the form of an awk script that generated an MRF of people that could not bother me. Regular blocks didn't work because the tactic was to just go to someone's profile, reply to all of their posts with "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SUPPORT CHILD PORNOGRAPHY!" and then get people to take the bait and reply. That week, I responded by just spamming porn and refusing to engage and then came up with the "Iron Dome", which effectively prevented this tactic from working by killing off incoming posts that tagged both me and a blacklisted user as well as posts from those users that tagged me directly. So I stopped getting a bunch of people going "What does this mean? She says you support child pornography!"

I'm not even plugged into KF and barely knew the Chudbuds people (I talked to Claire once about server performance; I don't think she went with any of my recommendations, but her concern was the server chugging nuts instead of security).      It's lower now, you can see @pnotifbot generally has more manageable numbers. (Though it's counting unread notifications, not totals for the day, so if I'm out it goes higher and if I'm at my desk replying it stays lower.)

Still, aside from that blunder he seemed to be a pretty cool guy, recommended me some abuse-proof hosts and registrars.

     Not sure when he decided to be a gayops cunt, he apparently appeared out of nowhere and offered to host the matrix on a whim, but he was right there in all the chatlogs laughing along with the alogs and their life ruination bullshit. Can't remember the full extent of his involvement, but it was more than the patsies according to everything I heard at the time from all sides.
