     @nyanide That would be nice but there is the problem of instance names. People already complain about a long string of random characters for Nostr usernames so I imagine there will be an upheaval when User@ab787...wis96ms.onion starts popping up in threads. There must be a change in how users are addressed or at least how they appear when quoted because even now in a typical hellthread with normal user and domain names, shit becomes unreadable very quickly.

     @nyanide Yeah the change must be had in fedi itself, frontend or whatever. If I remember correctly Gleason was so doing something about it but many opposed him for being vegan (justifiable).

     @nyanide @raccoon @snacks Probably because they dropped all reverse proxy options from Pleroma, changed everything to Mint and probably borked proxying in the process. Just like oneric can't figure out how to properly support Elixir 1.18 right now.
