After nearly two decades, my career covering tech is over. I'm ending it voluntarily, confidently, and doing one hell of a pivot.
This is the result of months of reflection, and a growing realization that my spirit has been out of alignment for years. If you swim in pollution, you get polluted. Endlessly chasing headlines, dissecting tech specs, staying on top of the frantic news cycles, and immersing yourself in all the associated noise, toxicity, and urgency of the technology world is good for absolutely no one.
My superpower has always been telling stories, not telling people the news. So that's what I'm walking towards now, especially as I connect more with nature and the infinite sea of wild places around me. I want to capture human experiences. I want to share my love for nature with an enthusiasm that's contagious! I want to inspire people to embrace the outdoors, pursue their inner adventurer, and discover who they can become when they surround themselves with nature.
So, the path forward is set. I can't wait to show you what's next!
