@Deplorable_Degenerate @Waldbrand @themilkman One could easily argue that masturbation is a means of "resisting (lustful) urges", just like how taking a deep breath when provoked is "resisting (wrathful) urges". The important part is that the sexual urges are not causing chaos and disharmony by you having sex with someone that you shouldn't (and in places that you shouldn't).
>Levictus 15:16-17
It practically just says to shower after cooming.
>Matthew 5:28
This mentions looking lustfully at other men's wives. Meaning that you can look at unmarred women and, more importantly, anime women without breaking this command.
>Genesis 38:8-10
Onan was breaking a law and dishonoring his family, his sin was not the act of pulling out.

@themilkman @Waldbrand No it isn't. State your biblical source for this claim.

It talks at length about 'sexual immorality' and resisting urges but seldom calls out masterbation specifically.
Really just Leviticus 15:16-17 where it is called unclean, but only if you ejaculate so there might be a gooning loophole if you want to be a jew about it.
Matthew 5:28 if you can pull it off without thinking of a woman who isn't your wife you're in the clear
Genesis 38:8-10 pulling out is a sin (taking things out of context is fun)

Matthew 5:28 doesn't say "don't look lustfully at other men's wives", it says "don't look lustfully at anyone who's not your wife", big difference

@d0c40r0 @Deplorable_Degenerate @Waldbrand @themilkman I literally just looked up my bible, and it says "Any who looks lustfully at another's wife has already committed adultery in their heart". I am sure I quoted it correctly.

I want to add, that Colossians 3:5 DOES use πορνεία, which is the general term for any form of sexual behavior. The general Church has always seen masturbation as sinful. The fact that you might jork it to 2D women does not make it better.
