   But you haven't had to deal with the maintenance of yous firefox settings, or anyone with the maintenance of their Android apps internal storage. The proposed solution here is SQLite specifically

     @rakoo @dalias @ptrc @ska @navi @lispi314 Firefox is a really funny example to make there, after few years you have to wipe your profiles clean.
     Android is pretty much the same by virtue of smartphones being made to break.

     @rakoo I have lost data, although that was the Firefox project deciding for some stupid reason that several of the metadata fields it kept for bookmarks were no longer necessary.
     
     Descriptions? Who needs those, right? It's not like the users are actively using that⸮

     why do you have to clean them ? I must oe the lucky one who has never had to do that and lost any data
