     idk it was always assumed that I'd learn in a manual whether I wanted an auto or not just so I could drive 100% of cars rather than only 50-70% of cars legally
     
     and I gotta say I think if I had an auto I'd be bored out of my mind driving it

     It ended up being enough for me to sell the scooter back then, and enough to be very interested in manual car transmissions to the point of obtaining one today. :blobfoxthumbsup:

     ..and welcome to the club. It's a lot of fun. Engages all four limbs. Even my clunky heavy truck feels "fast" as a manual.

     Honestly, after getting the muscle memory from driving home, the only thing that really jumps out to me as being different is the behavior of the synchronizers. :blobfoxgooglymlem:
     
     For those who don't know, motorcycles most often use a sequential non-synchronous transmission, but some companies have automatic offerings now. Oh, and the vast majority of motorscooters use a CVT. :blobfoxthumbsup:

     @tk i just miss acceleration from the SUV i was driving before. its more tricky to accelerate fast. oh and standing in traffic uphill is horrible
