He blocked me for no reason, I didn't purposely antagonize him like many do because he knee jerk reacts to anything that questions his self professed intellect. This just gave me an aha moment as to why he's a blockmosexual and I think it's because he can tell someone doesn't take him seriously and not a candidate to feed his clout chasing.
If he was so smart as he claims he would know there are some lines not to cross if he's trying to gather a heard of lemmings.
As far as his deep cultural knowledge that's just a joke, he's like gwb doing the Macarena.

Did dread accidentally out himself as a jew with these recent attacks on Christianity? Now it makes sense that he blocks people he deems are not going to be receptive to his subversion. I would rather associate with honest atheists than someone encouraging Christians to abandon their church and comparing their faith to Netflix.

Second, Dread's specific expertise is in mainsteam media consumption...which is something that is far from unique.
Compared to that, each individual here is capable of providing worthwhile insight beyond anything Dread can say on occasion - we have AI/ML experts, mortuaries, martial artists, teachers/professors in technical fields, scrappers, gem cutters, artists, landlords, farmers, psychologists...so on and so forth. For almost any topic, there's someone here who is actually very well versed in it.
Every one of those people is *often wrong* until you are talking about their field of expertise. The fact that you can go just talk to them means you can just grab the specialist and learn from them. If you repeatedly shut out each individual expert, you end up like Dread - consistently mocked.
Dread is not the peer of the people he refuses to talk to - he is our lesser, and when we listen to him it is for the purpose of having a laugh at his idiocy.
One does not bother to tread carefully on eggshells.

Usually it is right to talk with people who disagree with you - the dialogue that is created can help pinpoint errors. This process strengthens your resolve when you are right, and it solves errors when you are wrong.
What happens with Dread is that he will make a claim and when a disagreement occurs, he merely blocks the person who disagrees with him. When he is shown to be wrong, he never sees it - he never corrects it
Such people will often persist in their error, and there is no remedy. When Dread speaks, one should mock him. He will not hear the mockery, and those who do hear the mockery will delight in it.

Dread writes insightful things. He's got a thin skin, but it was gained from years of people wasting his time.
And he does correct and listen to others - but only people he sees as peers. If you're not them, well, tread carefully.

@judgedread Even if you turn out to be wrong, people would be foolish to ignore your takes. Life is hypothesis and probabilities. Even when I mightily disagree with your position, I listen, because your predictive models are grounded in observable reality.
We're adults, we don't have to see eye-to-eye on every issue to get along.
