Yea it’s almost 3am, and I’m being lazy right now to look up a proper installation video. Easy to google, though… -

You load the Linux OS (or any OS) on a micro-SD card.
Yea I knew I read the Linux OS replacement on Chromebooks and understood it could be a process. Not impossible, but probably better off buying a cheap laptop Craigslist or something. -

I have a built gaming rig with Win 11 on it.
Then VMWare on that. Plenty of horsepower to run anything. -

I would just buy a $35 Raspberry Pi 3 and dick around with that. Chromebooks are garbage. I think the internet has successfully put Linux on one, but not sure it was a plug n play process. I use VMWare Player 17 and run Linux that way. All free to run on the desktop. Also, a good option. -

Let's say I want to use Linux and I already have a chromebook
Under no circumstances am I going to buy a computer with microsoft or apple software
Should I get a new Linux only computer to use Linux or should I use a chromebook?
The Chromebook keyboard is not as good but the Chromebook operating system is better than windows as far as I am concerned
It has a built in app that says something like "Linux terminal"
Are there any beginner guides for linux on chromebook?
