    people did fight, and lost. And then the system refused to tell you they fought to make you more compliant.

      @LudditeMan @BattleDwarfGimli People are expecting cops to be super heros or something. Their job is literally to enforce laws no matter what they think. Their schooling now literally tells them this.

      Places will reject applicants now if they're too smart.

      @BattleDwarfGimli @sickburnbro The "good ones" usually quit or retire early, the rest are just order-following goons for the system.

      And the police, to a man, complied with the order to beat civilians who did not want their children exposed to niggers.

      But hey, back the blue, amirite?

      @whiteman_ @HAPPYPOTAMUS it's because for most people things were still pretty good at that point. If your choice is "total war against the government" or "hope they figure out they are wrong while minding your own business" most people are gonna chose the latter.

      @sickburnbro @LudditeMan @BattleDwarfGimli Never forget that the US Supreme Court set legal precedent that the protection of the citizenry is not an actual duty of law enforcement, as they have ruled in Castle Rock v. Gonzales and Deshaney v. Winnebago County Department of Social Services.

      @skinwalkerq400 @LudditeMan @BattleDwarfGimli no no, it's protection of ANY ONE SPECIFIC MEMBER; so you can call the police for help and they don't show up, and you can't blame them.

      @skinwalkerq400 @LudditeMan @BattleDwarfGimli what's interesting in re-reading Castle Rock is how it's all about due process.

      @skinwalkerq400 @LudditeMan @BattleDwarfGimli what's so funny is "The National Organization for Women has argued the Supreme Court's decision reduced the utility of restraining orders and "effectively gives law enforcement a green light to ignore restraining orders."

      feminists were mad because they wanted to be able to cry at judges and get writs that force the police to do whatever they want.

      @WilhelmIII @BattleDwarfGimli @sickburnbro "Integration"

      Teacher subreddits are full of mostly women teachers bitching about how in a class of 30 they have to deal with autisitics, adhd'ers, runners, retards, etc. Maybe half the class. Easy. Because integrating all levels and abilities in students was the "right thing to do" years before. And you know they bought that idea and its politics and pushed for it all themselves. Here, it's blacks. But it was taken to the extreme and now they have to deal with the consequences. Oh noes. I have to suffer the yadda yadda yadda. Suffer.

      And the media and education complexes to this day will use euphemisms like "integration" and "civil rights" to describe it.

      Rather than, "White children death marched at bayonet point."
