        The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006 film)
        The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (時をかける少女, Toki o Kakeru Shōjo) is a 2006 Japanese animated science fiction romance film, directed by Mamoru Hosoda, written by Satoko Okudera, and produced by Madhouse. It is a loose sequel to the 1967 novel of the same name by Yasutaka Tsutsui and shares the basic premise, but with a different story and characters than the novel. The protagonist is Makoto Konno, a teenage girl who learns the power of time travel from Kazuko Yoshiyama, her aunt and the protagonist to the original story. She begins using the time-leaps frivolously to fix problems, and repeatedly relives the same day in a time loop. Makoto is voiced by Riisa Naka, who would later portray Makoto's cousin, Akari Yoshiyama, the protagonist of the 2010 live-action film Time Traveller: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, which follows a different story.         Summer Wars (Japanese: サマーウォーズ, Hepburn: Samā Wōzu) is a 2009 Japanese animated science fiction film directed by Mamoru Hosoda, produced by Madhouse, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film's voice cast includes Ryunosuke Kamiki, Nanami Sakuraba, Mitsuki Tanimura, Sumiko Fuji, and Ayumu Saitō. The film tells the story of Kenji Koiso, a timid eleventh-grade math genius who is taken to Ueda by twelfth-grade student, Natsuki Shinohara to celebrate her great-grandmother's 90th birthday. However, he is falsely implicated in the hacking of a virtual world by a self-aware, sadistic artificial intelligence named Love Machine.         Wolf Children (Japanese: おおかみこどもの雨と雪, Hepburn: Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki, lit. 'Wolf Children: Ame and Yuki') is a 2012 Japanese animated fantasy drama film directed and co-written by Mamoru Hosoda. The second original feature film directed by Hosoda and the first work written by him, the film stars the voices of Aoi Miyazaki, Takao Osawa, and Haru Kuroki. The story's central theme is "parent and child", depicting 13 years in the life of a young woman, Hana, who falls in love with a werewolf while in college, and following his death must raise the resulting half-wolf half-human children, Ame and Yuki, who grow and find their own paths in life.       Well I guess Fire Force and JJK might fall in the same vein of visually stunning shonens.
      SG is weird among anime but I would recommend ID Invaded. Ever so slightly gory (a couple people get their heads drilled but they don't die) but still has that mindfuckery science vibe.
