I don’t have an easy answer to ‘what I did about it’!
It was just something I had to do, a lot.
By not obsessing over individual things and just acknowledging how my brain works differently: as long as I can get into the flow of a story I am trying to tell, I am mostly there with that.
I also had to give myself space to learn, and frankly flub many times in the past. Now I think i quite like doing this
@chrisjrn I saw this some time ago. Thank you for reminding me of it! For lots of ND folks, perfectionism can be a driving force, or something that just stands in the way
@skinnylatte I read in this [0] interview with Stephen Colbert that learning to get actually good as a performer meant learning to "love the bomb" – i.e. realising that you _need_ to have bad experiences to learn to stop fearing having a bad experience.
