     When people talk about how historical figures would turn over in their grave if they saw social media, I say they would love it. Abraham Lincoln would have posted this on Facebook, and then people would be like, "What's up, Sis?" and he would reply, "I don't want to talk about it, let me have my privacy!"

     And I can 100% see Mark Twain taking the internet by storm, when someone reports that he is dead, and he posts this on his socials:

     @RickiTarr i’ve often said Nietzsche would have totally owned Twitter. to that, may i add that Twain would have been a kickass blogger, Orson Wells would have totally had a podcast. some folks said Susan Sontag had a Livejournal and i totally want to believe it. which leaves us with Tumblr. James Baldwin would have been the king of that.
