   @sun Sun, i feel like I am taking crazy pills. Now feels like a good time to invest, but I am not in tune with things like this so I have been trying to find guidance online. Articles etc.
   
   Everyone and everything is talking about "defensive stocks that wont lose value!!" and "actually, just hold cash!!!"
   But... that's for if you're treating the stock market as a get-rich-quick scheme, right? why would i care if a stock won't lose value in the coming months/year(s?) at this point?
   
   Shouldn't the idea be to buy now and enjoy the profits a few years down the line? Yet I can't find a single goddamn anything about this. I don't wanna go in blind but at this rate... lol

     i also don't know what im talking about:
     bonds seem smart from what I understand
     but about falling/finding the bottom I think that is a fool's errand. i think the way you fight fluctuations/rapid falling/rapid rising is to just steadily put a stable amount of money in on a consistent schedule over a long period of time
     i think there's even a name for that but I can't recall rn
     I did this years ago when I had money to waste (last year of growth+ has been totally wiped out in the last few work days btw) but now feels like a good time to redouble, maybe.
     
     But if I end up rapidly needing cash, I'm just shooting myself in the foot

     not financial advice, I don't know what I'm talking about:

     I'd like to see it fall a little more. It this starts a global crisis that takes a year before anything starts going up at all, that'd be fun. One's overdue anyway.

     Meanwhile I just sit back, eat popcorn, and watch my govt bonds' steady growth.
