@nyanide You know the real reason for some of these really legacy UIs existing? Basically a lot of corporate management software still hooks into them via Explorer shell scripts, because not everything on Windows can be done via the command line, you actually need the GUI, so corporate clients pressure Microsoft to not change these for 25-30 years now.

@Cyrillic @nyanide Alpine is a BusyBox/Linux distro that uses GNU software to produce the install images.
Part of BusyBox is copy-pasted from GNU, so yes you are running GNU on your machine - although too little of it, that results in an inferior clone that sucks hard.
