I agree with this list of top instant noodles
It doesn't include some noodles that I can only get in Asia, but it's a good start of stuff you can get internationally

i would add Shin Black as well. the soup is very deep and complex, almost like a restaurant noodle soup
there's also instant frozen noodles from sun noodles which brings it closer to fancy ramen in a restaurant territory
@thepoliticalcat will send you some in my care pack to you. The grass jelly out of stock so hadn’t sent yet
@skinnylatte Starting to recover and feel better, maybe it's time to start another food learning journey.
@daihard I think there’s stuff like Nissin Demae but feels harder to get. This is definitely an intro but still good list. Hehe
@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io I find it odd that the site only mentions one Japanese product out of more than what, 10? I don't doubt that the ones listed here are all good, but I've tried some of them and there are definitely better instant noodles from Japan other than Raoh that didn't make the list. :blobfoxangry:
@Holberg very close to the real thing, which is my favorite food
@skinnylatte I first bought those Laksa noodles because I (who never really buys instant noodles) couldn't believe they were that expensive, so they MUST be worth it. And they were haha.
@radhika I buy all my groceries from Sayweee.com!
@skinnylatte really like one called 'mom's dry noodle' that I used to get in LA, but haven't managed to find it in SF yet
@skinnylatte I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised!
@winterknight1337 yay!
@skinnylatte I went to an Asian grocery store that has some restaurants in it yesterday for the first time with a Chinese friend of mine and his family. They were helpful at pointing out good stuff, including snacks and instant noodles. I want to bring my fiancé next time I go. It was a cool experience!
