@Black_Flag @fkamiah17 @Thebratdragon @seachaint @AngharadHafod @stephanie It’s sad because we were chatting at one point after he started using an app I’d made back in the day for Twitter and he seemed to genuinely care about stuff. (And he’s been rather fearlessly outspoken against religion, which is also quite taboo.) But I guess there’s a reason anyone who is successful enough in the mainstream is where they are. It’s definitely not the first time I’ve been disappointed by someone like that.

  And the attention/acceptance. Fry has a strong "establishment-friendly" streak running through him. So he wants to feel accepted by the rich and powerful. All those twunts telling him he's a genius must really flatter his ego. Narcissistic prick.

  @Thebratdragon @aral @seachaint @AngharadHafod @stephanie Funny how he was quite happy to soak up all the sympathy he got for his mental health (which I'm not denigrating, obviously), yet can't take the plank out of his eye when it comes to abuse survivors or the trans community. The deciding factor is the money, of course.
