     @icedquinn@blob.cat this is why i got new ones. the jb weld plasticweld worked fantastic actually, they're pretty rigid but idk how they'd hold up to getting dropped and i figured these are pretty worn out already so

     @s8n @shibao when i replaced my senn pods i ended up buying aftermarket for a newer model. turns out senn uses the same housing but they just lie about it to make you buy new foons.
     
     which is a shame they could have just sold me replacement foons. they obviously have them in stock.

     @shibao @icedquinn I haven't yet found a pair of headphones that's immune to that death. The really nice ones do have replacement parts but they're not around anymore by the time you need them

     @icedquinn@blob.cat @f0x@decayable.ink i am lazy but idk what to do besides like wrap them in some fabric or something, i guess i could sew it on the existing fabric but they don't really give any good places to swap out the cups at all, the sewing into the foam would tear right out i think

     @shibao @f0x might be able to look up the model number. with some brands there's aftermarket pods or they use the same chassis across models so a different model ends up having a compatible pod

     @djsumdog @f0x @shibao i should sell the old bluetooth cans. ended up liking the skulls better than the jbls (which cracked after a couple floor dives) and now i just use ankers.
     
     the skulls i tried to use again for fun but they keep fucking up negociating AAC

     @Wrest@shitposter.world i got a bose qc ultra which isn't a fancy headphone but i need noise cancelling cuz i work next to bubbletea which is a sort of loud server. i may or may not have purchased a fiio p7 which i can use with like my oppo pm3s, those are like the only "good" headphone i have rn, but maybe i will get more in the future
