Career stuff is a weird one, my technical skills and abilities never really changed too much in the last decade, what did change was I got older and people naturally started to take me more seriously. Careers are something you'll keep working on til your 60/70, and realistically you probably won't peak until you're in your forties. People always say dumb shit like they wanna retire by the time they're 30/35 and it never fucking happens because even if they're in a position to do it by that age, they realise they aint even at their peak yet and there's a lot further to go. And shit, you've seen me, I've only just now broken into the big leagues and I'm about to turn forty. What I can't get back again though is to be in my 20's again. so yeah, remember to live, the cool shit will kinda happen if you keep your eyes open and don't make excuses to not do things. say yes to more things, preferably not more overtime though lole.

i do enjoy mentally where I'm at getting more into hobbies that are off of the computer. I do miss having my 3d printers though. Going to pick up more paints tomorrow and i've got a set of nice brushes in the mail coming as well. Should keep me occupied for a lil bit with my strategic reserve of miniatures i printed before moving over here. going through my stuff though i'm reminded why i wanted my next printer to be bigger than 256x256 bed size though, the gridfinity cases i printed held up super well in transit and are gonna be dead handy for taking stuff to mini painting nights at friends houses.

also one thing I wanna note, I'm using the lian li GPU anti-sag bracket and it works so nicely in this build. You can barely see it unless you get your face right up in it, it installs a threaded bar perpendicular to the PCIE slots in a really unobtrusive powdercoated black finish, and you can screw in these little arms with various sized rubber pads to hold the GPU up. I got mine from Scorptec who were really cool when I popped in to get my shit today from their brissie shop.
