@hellomiakoda Try Brave. Chromium based but has built in ad blocking and so far quite good. Also from what I understand a fork of chromium so Google should not be able to inject any crap into it. Also has built in tor private browsing if you are into that.
@cienmilojos Excessive data collection and their business practices make them an automatic suck on my rating scale.
Great example - A Pixel phone running the stock firmware with Google AI is GREAT... useful, easy, fast, takes great photos that sync easily to the cloud. But... the spying puts Google at a 0 stars for me.
@allenstenhaus I think this misses the mark. I use LibreWolf. The Google monopoly on browser renderers is more serious than Mozilla's current bat shittery, and, at least on desktop, there are FireFox forks
@hellomiakoda A friend got me on Vivaldi recently. So far, I am quite happy with it. I am not thrilled about it being Chromium based, but I need to send a message to Mozilla. If enough of us stop using Firefox, they will change their minds.
@hellomiakoda Well the ad blocking so far has been great. Which is built in and not plug-in related. I have no ad blockers installed. Again any browser can change but so far so good. Hard to get away from chromium these days.
