   Spent some time putting a #Brembo 17RCS onto my CBR650R, only to be unable to finish it because of a few snags:

   1. It came with a double banjo bolt instead of the single I need, so I had to order a third-party replacement.
   2. The bracket included with the Brembo reservoir causes said reservoir to hit the fairing, so I had to older a third-party replacement again.
   3. I ordered the wrong combination of Speed Bleeders so I had to order one more of one model. (This isn't a big problem, but since I can't fill the lines anyway due to the above issues, I might as well fix it at the same time.)

   It wasn't a total waste of time, though. It familiarized me with how to maintain hydraulic disc brakes. :blobfox3c:

     Babby's first brake system purge and brake bleed went well enough. I learned quite a lot and made a big mess, as is customary for me. :blobfoxgoogly:
     
     The Speed Bleeder I got for the rear brake ended up not being the right one after all, so I'll have to swap that out once I get the right part. :blobfoxgooglycry:
     
     (For clarity, I did bleed the rear brake after finding that out, using the stock bleed screw, so the bike is 100% up and running now. :blobfox: )

     @tk Beautiful.

     I did my brakes for the first time this year too lol. I did a steel braided line on the rear, steel braided lines on front and new pads/rotors on the front. The front brake lines are some fancy ones that go direct from master cylinder to each caliper rather than master cylinder to caliper, then caliper to caliper.

     I saw the description on the aftermarket master cylinders warned about wiring for the brake light switch and it scared me lol I don’t always have the best luck working on my own bike…

     Tracked down the shop manual for the bike and found that it uses three of the same bleed screw. :blobfoxdeadinside:
