     @mrman Imagine if the Philippines held a massive stockpile of world nuclear arsenal and was embroiled in some sort of geopolitical controversy involving a foreign war abroad in South Asia. And, the political opposition to Philippines president Bongbong Marcos was so fanatical that the brink was pushed to nuclear exchange.

     And, as nuclear winter sets in, in your country far, far away, some Philippines equivalent of a shitlib messages you consolation that, at least, President Bongbong did not get his way. How preferable that generations will suffer and that species might go extinct because the alternative, Bongbong Marcos getting a W, was too devasting to let happen.

     @mrman It's a little concerning that there is a substantial percentage of population in the West, mostly shitlib types, who would genuinely rather see things like nuclear Armageddon vs. Putin and/or Trump respectively "coming out on top" or getting their ways.
