My best friend senior year in high school and I told our parents we were going bowling and then hopped on the train to NYC in 1974 to see the New York Dolls. Made it home by midnight, high as a kite on strawberry mescaline, reeking of ciggy smoke and beer I'm sure but because it was the 70s and that's what both bowling alleys and NY clubs smelled like we didn't get caught. Good times, and wow long ago.....

     @Notgonnastop @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain I think what really started me to feel old was when the members of Emerson, Lake and Palmer all died one after the other. I was a fan.
