     1. paying 'independent' media to toe the party line (Politico)
     2. paying controlled opposition to control the opposition (Bill Kristol; that new retard that told everyone to go work for Panda Express)
     3. paying freaks to agitate constantly for freakishness
     4. paying EcoHealth to perform gain of function research in Wuhan to lead to a politically convenient plague
     5. paying random traitors and scum and family members of useful serial killers to do nothing (Chelsea Clinton)
     and more!
     
     It's not the only such organ, but it's an obviously cancerous tumor and it's getting lanced and that's unambiguously a good thing for anyone who wasn't on its payroll - and for those people as well, in the long run, since it only injected evil into the societies that the people on its payroll still had to live in.
     
     USAID is also quite an interesting target because it's so corrupt while having such an overtly angelic role. Why, it's fighting AIDS in Africa!
     6. paying people to pretend that there's an AIDS problem in Africa, and that it isn't only a minor gay disease and that it wasn't only a great killer when Fauci was treating it with poison.

     Someone please explain to me how cutting miscellaneous expenses by government, something that could be easily undone and made ten times worse in the next four years, is making me more free.

     How am I more free now than I was a year ago?

     Because the Feds saved some money by no longer funding trans underwater basket weaving? Saved some money that they make up out of nothing? Programs that will be swiftly restored in 2029?

     Explain how I’m more free. Please.

     The money they made up out of nothing competes with your money that you earn, bids prices up for goods that you both pursue, and makes your money not go as far. Counterfeiting is pretty bad for the people not connected to the counterfeiter.

     @ILoveAmericaNews I agree that cutting the Federal Government back is a good thing, and I think DOGE is a good idea and smart political maneuvering, but I also think the claim that "USAID is the deep state's mouthpiece" is an overstatement.

     When this all first started, everyone was posting that POLITICO gets ~$8m from the feds, which is true. But from what I see when I search usaspending.gov, only $44k of that is from USAID.

     Do you have another example to support the claim?

     They're going after every money source used by the deep state. For instance, NASA canceled this $500K in contracts with Politico because of DOGE.

     They just got access to FEMA, and a judge is blocking access to the US Treasury, but that won't hold.

     The IRS is going to get an audit in the next few weeks, and yesterday Musk announced that Ron Paul will be personally working on the audit of the Fed.

     Good things are coming.
