Matt Hamilton@ILoveAmericaNews I agree that cutting the Federal Government back is a good thing, and I think DOGE is a good idea and smart political maneuvering, but I also think the claim that "USAID is the deep state's mouthpiece" is an overstatement.
When this all first started, everyone was posting that POLITICO gets ~$8m from the feds, which is true. But from what I see when I search usaspending.gov, only $44k of that is from USAID.
Do you have another example to support the claim?
