@leah I mean that's good but I'd love the same art style as original but car replaced with a Tesla Roadster or something with the ugly T clearly visible, and bottom text "dispose of your Tesla today!"
@jwcph This is more a minimal edit. I was thinking a remake with same style but very visibly a Tesla vehicle and driver who looks like someone who'd buy one.
@jwcph It's not the problem, but it makes it clear that he has direct ties to OG Nazism, and that he wouldn't be where he is economically if he'd rejected that ideology.
@jwcph What I'm saying is that "who he is and what he did" was someone who embraced his dynastic nazi role. We wouldn't be condemning him if he'd rejected it.
But the point here is that these aren't mere coincidences or jokes by a neonazi-flirting edgelord like his fans like to pretend. They're values he was raised with, with direct lineage to OG Nazism.
@dalias All true - but I don't think those edgelord dipshits are who we need to be communicating towards; no matter what they're told, they'll find some bullshit gymnastics to reject it.
The challenge is the "benefit of the doubt" crowd, who also tend to be the kind of people who, if told his grandpappy was a Nazi, will immediately be like "But that doesn't mean HE is a Nazi", adding an unnecessary extra "No, but he is" layer of explanation.
@dalias Precisely. While everyone who bought a Wankpanzer can be assumed to be one of those edgelord assholes, most other Tesla-buyers by far are of the "benefit of doubt" crowd - e-cars appeal overwhelmingly to self-identified "upper-middleclass lefties", who until a few years ago thought they had a rare billionaire ally in Elmo. To protect their own egos they'd done a lot of doubt-benefiting as his true colors have become evermore apparent.
