     @meghanemurphy He's not entirely wrong. We can't deny that there are many women in the mainstream calling themselves feminists who include men in the category women, think sex work is work, dictate that we have to be left wing to be allowed to speak, and like to think that women are the same as men in every metric. I've seen them on twatter, on TV etc. As you said, third-wave feminism screwed up.
     To be honest, I'm not at all surprised that so many men think this genderwoo mess is the fault of women. It is the fault of some women. As you so rightly say, it is primarily the fault of porn-addled men who cannot go through life without their dicks being the centre of the universe. But we cannot deny that so many women, especially in academia, media and politics enabled them.
     There is and will always be no shortage of men who blame all the evils of the world on women and no shortage of women who will play *pick me* and shit on other women for prestige.

And the ones fighting back and being attacked by agp men, their feminist contemporaries, and the rw which doesn't respect women anyhow, have been feminists. Radical feminists.

     @Blackgendermoderate @meghanemurphy Don't hate me for saying it (please!). We have to acknowledge that some people made mistakes (or worse) in order to fix stuff.
     We have a great community of women here and we will prevail. But we can only do it by being honest. Dishonesty (among other things) is what got us into this mess.
     The truth will set us free.

     @Blackgendermoderate @KeepTakingTheSoma @meghanemurphy I was shocked reading a book on the 1850s in Europe to find that women were already having to take a stand against a "liberation" that only included sex. Men love women's sexual liberation, not much else.

     They were all into love and peace, but if other people weren't then they would punch their lights out to show them how peaceful they were.
     They were also into free love, which meant that women had to put it out there to prove how liberated they were, and if they didn't, well they were just uptight prudes who needed a good seeing to.
     
     Free love - it's the most expensive kind there is.
