     No way to improve, that. But even I feel immensely defeated when I refuse to lock down a game because I'm not focused on checkmate and end up stalemating my opponent who I've got on the run. I will snatch defeat from victory's jaws playing like that and it's frustrating.

     It's easy to pick up but difficult to master, my ELO is laughably bad even now at around 1200 last I checked on chess.com.
