Brilliant, like, the first fifteen minute you wanna punch every one of the characters in the face and then the movie uses that to its advantage. Half the time, the setup for movies like that is "Oh, this guy's a Navy SEAL, and this guy's the Professor of Smartness at Science University" and then when things get weird and they have no way to cope, you wonder why they're all complete idiots. This movie gives you a bunch of bedipshitted Bay Area honkeys and then when they don't know what to do, it makes sense.

  You know, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead were great, and Romero wanted to make this way bigger movie but he couldn't get the budget. When he finally did get budget, it was Land of the Dead and that movie blew. Some guys, like...you give them more money and they shit the bed. Like the guy that did District 9, you give him money and then he makes...Chappie.
  
  On the other hand, you give the guy that did Donnie Darko a bigger budget and he makes Southland Tales and that movie was fucking excellent.

  If you don't play the Zero Time Dilemma series then I will fite all of your irl.
  
  First game feels a little slow and text-heavy at the beginning but by the time you get the good ending you'll be all the way in.
  
  Second one they made the guy tone down the violence. It is still a really good game.
  
  Third one takes the first two and snaps it all the way off, plus the violence is back because it was Kickstartered, but the author injects these random tangents. "Well, we have 45 minutes to kill. Let me explain to you my various theories about Back to the Future and what happened to the version of Marty that *was* living the good life until Marty Prime took over."
  
  I read an interview with the guy that wrote the games, the interviewer asked him a question about something that happened off-screen and he said "I have an answer for this, but I saw a fan theory on a forum and I liked that explanation better than my version, so I'm not going to answer."

It also featured a sneak peak into card nights at the McFly home circa the mid 1960s

    999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors is a visual novel and adventure video game developed by Chunsoft. It is the first installment in the Zero Escape series, and was released in Japan in December 2009 and in North America in November 2010 for the Nintendo DS. The story follows Junpei, a college student who is abducted along with eight other people and forced to play the "Nonary Game", which puts its participants in a life-or-death situation, to escape from a sinking cruise liner. The gameplay alternates between two types of sections: Escape sections, where the player completes puzzles in escape-the-room scenarios; and Novel sections, where the player reads the game's narrative and makes decisions that influence the story toward one of six different endings. Development of the game began after Kotaro Uchikoshi joined Chunsoft to write a visual novel for them that could reach a wider audience; Uchikoshi suggested adding puzzle elements that are integrated with the game's story.   It is not like Primer in the sense that it has a similar plotline, but it is similar in the sense that they had a low budget and a very interesting premise and it came out better as a result.
