     @dan @skye I can imagine, especially if you’re on a small / single user instance.

     The toot is constructed in such a way that each fedi user sees their own instance name. I see mine. You see yours.

     No idea how this works, but I’ve seen it several times before.

     @dan Ah, if you look at the toot on its original instance, you see how it’s done:

     “ hot girls on $ INSTANCE $ host $ in your area” (spaces added by me)
